Data for change

The Updated Gender Actors Map

We have re-published our Gender Actors Map, with updated data on 75 gender actors, and a new and revised typology. Developed in partnership with Diakonia, it serves as a tool for various stakeholders working on gender issues so as to better understand the gender landscape, tailor their actions and interventions, identify gaps in the sector, as well as opportunities for collaboration.

If you work on gender issues and wish to be listed, please send us an email to contact@lebanon-support.org

  • New discussion alert: 16 Days of Activism Against GBV 2020 - Shadow Pandemic

Ahead of the upcoming #16DaysofActivism against Gender-based Violence campaign (November 25- December 10), Lebanon Support has launched a new discussion on the DM Gender Group, around the impact of the Covid19 pandemic on Gender-Based Violence in Lebanon [here]. Indeed, confinement has increased tensions and socio-economic worries, as well as isolation of women, girls, and LGBTIQ people in violent homes, leading to a rise of domestic violence and GBV globally, and particularly in Lebanon

In light of the 16 Days of Activism Gender-Based Violence, how can we, as civil society actors in Lebanon, advocate for policy reforms?

Log in to your DM account and let us know.

In addition, throughout these 16 days of activism, Lebanon Support will be sharing additional content and resources from its Gender Equity Network.
